"We booked a few weeks prior to our arrival - we had an issue with our previous venue and just so happened to come across the lodges at the Mohican Outdoor Center - WOW! This was such a good deal. We were able to host a small family get together to countdown the new year in the main living space of the Blueberry Hill lodge. There were extra folding tables and chairs available and so many items on hand for..."

"I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Mohican Outdoor Center in Blairstown, NJ, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to escape into nature! Nestled on a stunning glacial lake within the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, this place is a true gem, just a 90-minute drive from New York City. The setting is breathtaking, with serene lake views, lush forests, and the Appalachian Trail practically at your doorstep. My group stayed in the Blueberry..."

"I have not gone camping much in my lifetime. The staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. There are books and pamphlets to read, a gift shop, wi-fi, and dining. The food prices are fairly reasonable and so are some of the items in the gift shop."

"Four of us spent three nights in the Trails End bunkhouse over Columbus Day Weekend. We used Mohican Center as a base for two days of biking and a day of hiking in the Delaware Water Gap. The bunkhouse includes a communal area with four sofas and two tables, a wood stove for heat, a full kitchen and four bunk rooms, each with four bunks. Firewood was included; if you need more, you go to the lodge (about a 5..."

"Stopped for the night on a section hike of NJ. Fantastic place to get out of the elements. Bunk house, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. Employees were very friendly and helpful. I did not eat at the lodge but those who did said the food was great. Highly recommended!"

"Had just the best weekend at AMC Mohican Outdoor Center in the Blueberry Hill Cabin. We shared it with 3 other families, and let me tell you, there was something for everyone - hiking, catching and releasing salamanders with the kids, sitting by the fire (inside or outside), cooking and grilling thanks to a fully stocked kitchen including not one but TWO fridges, board games and kids books inside the cabin, a fully stocked gift shop with coffee and wifi..."

"First time hiking the AT and stayed at one of the adorable, cozy cottages. Even though the mountain received significant snow and temps were freezing, the cottage stayed super warm. It had a full bathroom/shower and kitchenette. Waking up to the sunrise over the mountain was breathtaking! We saw several beautiful white tailed deer around the cottage and on Racoon Ridge which is a short hike from the AT trail head right down the road. This is a must getaway..."

"AT thru hiker, stopped in unexpectedly but highly recommend. The staff is beyond friendly and lots of good people from the trail too. There's a box from previous thru hikers of goods not needed and a pay it forward board. No matter what your doing you'll feel comfortable and I recommend the stop--"duck tape fixes everything'"
